My wife is driving the Liner at the moment so as you can imagine it hasn't been cleaned.

Does anyone know why the polish is coming off after 2 washes then buliding up in the scratches and stone chips?

How much polish are you using? less is more when waxing a car ;)

And what polish - Super resin polish is actually a polish and a sealant (wax) at the same time. Also there are a lot more durable sealant/ waxes out there that will last a lot longer.

Mine gets washed and spray waxed once a week :)

I used Black label autoglym polish ultra somthing and this seemed to do more damage than good!

Who was on about snow foaming the other day? What is that about? I want it?

By the name its sounds like it would do more damage than good! You really need to polish the car then wax it to seal in and give the paint a layer of protection.

Polishing is abrasive and will remove tiny amount of the clearcoat, but you will then be leaving it exposed to the elements with out giving it a layer of wax/ sealant.

Snowfoam.... that was probably me ;) http://z10.invisionfree.com/djcc/index.php?showtopic=10154

Snow foam just really makes cleaning a bit easier takes the surface layer of dirt off, it doesn't clean the car for you. But yeah it is good fun B)

I used to clean mine and polish it at least once a week, since moving down here though it gets done once every 2-3 weeks which is painful for me :( but I don't have a drive way or anywhere decent to clean it now.

You need a foam gun attachment for the karcher and some snow foam.

What does the foam actually do! Do you put on spray off or do you wipe down then spray off!
