i went for the starlet as in my opinion, though im totally open to others input, its one of the fastest most economical and insurable cars for the price. For me thats pretty important as im still at uni and cant afford to spend a whole load of money, so for 3500 and 800 insurance you cant really go wrong in my opinion. I looked at other options, cr-x, r5 gt-t and a couple others but this seemed the best option.

Though after uni it will be s13 silvia alllll the way, i love them so much.

Hahahah Julian what number are you up to now???

I got my Starlet as I wanted something that was mine and when she came up I was told I could have her...

Cheap to run, insure and tax and for a 1.3 she sure does shift :D

I brought the wrx cos my other half said i could have one ;) ....and paid for it :P

I brought it because of the burble......and it was turbo'd.....my first turbo car...so i wanted it to be half desent.

The only mistake i made...well a few was....

1 - i brought the first one i saw
2- i didnt even look around car, went for a quick spin and that was enough for me (and i didnt even drive it)
3- Looking at it now....for £2800 i coulda got a Faaaaaar better one :P

I bought mine because some idiot drove into the back of my FTslOw and I couldn't find another minter to swap the bits over.

I looked at all sorts of cars, but nothing could beat the 200 for bang for buck. 300bhp, reliably for £5k and it was still cheaper to insure than the FTO

I'm with Daniel though, I don't think I can go back to FWD. Maybe 4WD if I have to get sensible and buy a pickup

FWD is actually more fun than you think.... if you have a decent setup ;)
[GK-customfield]Lewis[customfield-GK]
Starlet GT 1.3 forged engine, tdo4 turbo @ 1.25bar = 252bhp = SOLD :(

EDIT: Charade GTxx 993cc three cylinder turbo, 173bhp @ 1.4bar (should hit 200bhp with a larger throttle body, removing stupid high lift cams and a bit more boost)

Well, i just love em, they have character, rear wheel drive, uber reliable, fun to drive, smiles per mile, cheap to get bits for, easy to modify with a 13mm spanner and a hammer, and yes i am talking about my trust worthy steed the ford sierra.

But the civic, well need i say any more VTEC.

Bought the Yaris as its a bit different, reliable, cheap to run.
Though its only 125 bhp, its power/weight ratio is not too bad, enough for it to fun on winding roads B)
Would love a scooby/evo but couldnt afford to run one ;).
