Made a little headway on the car today....Turbo change and fitting the cold air feed.

Decided to fit the VF35 after all and will upgrade to something bigger before all the shows start next year..... ;)

Both turbos side by side..VF35 on the left and VF23 on the right....

The change took 2 hours from start to finish every bolt/nut come undone as if they were only fitted yesterday. :D

Cold air feed....I decided to paint the ram pipes black to match the intercooler because them like the intercooler were polished. A small amount of time rubbing them down to give a key, 4 coats of Saturn black followed by 4 coast of lacquer and half hour in the oven and they look like this. The finish is better than i expected.. :D

And fitted....

Just fuel pump and injectors left to fit...

Cold air feed looks great. Really nicely put into the foglight cover. This is gonna be an interesting setup. Whats happening with the suspension setup?

Whiteline stuff is top notch. It just seemed odd Jay as you are modding the car backwards compared to the WRX!!!

Gonna be a track monster at Japfest methinks.

Not really fella, the standard STI suspension isnt really that bad and remember with DCCD i can as good as set under or over steer at the roll of a switch.

whos the rally driver??
[GK-customfield]Lewis[customfield-GK]
Starlet GT 1.3 forged engine, tdo4 turbo @ 1.25bar = 252bhp = SOLD :(

EDIT: Charade GTxx 993cc three cylinder turbo, 173bhp @ 1.4bar (should hit 200bhp with a larger throttle body, removing stupid high lift cams and a bit more boost)
