As you all know my skyline is totally standard....can you give me some advice on what to buy for it first to increase the power to the rear end? At the moment i cant get the back end to kick out.

Starlet GT 1.3 forged engine, tdo4 turbo @ 1.25bar = 252bhp = SOLD :(

EDIT: Charade GTxx 993cc three cylinder turbo, 173bhp @ 1.4bar (should hit 200bhp with a larger throttle body, removing stupid high lift cams and a bit more boost)

Breathing mods are a good way to start

Air Filter -- Bren @ Apex do a good deal on an Apexi 1 under £50 delivered.

Turbo Elbow - downpipe - exhaust - Japspeed by far the best on price and quality.

The supporting mods like uprated fuel pump

It will begin to overfuel with these mods so a fuel computer is really required. SAFC cheap option or Remap standard ECU @ RSP (I mod the ECU's so they can take a new chip)

Boost controller Greddy profec B set 0.7 low boost 0.85 high.

FMIC not essential, but does improve things quite a bit - japspeed again.

Just a quick power increase you can ground the boost solinoid so it runs hi-boost constantly.

your best off using the clutch in first gear to get the arse out, then try and hold it and shift upto second then you'll be broadside nicely... if you can control the power otherwise ... spin time!

sorry.....been down the skyline route myself only to find that modding one cost 3 x the amount as it does for the same power boost in a 200sx

also have a look on youtube for a video called "drift bible". That shows you about 5 ways of getting the arse end out. failing that, over inflated the rear tyres and have a go when its wet

If ya wanna go sideways, it aint about the power, its all in the chassis, diff and the driver.

Coilovers, 1.5way or 2 way diff, some decent alignment and lots of practice B). Job, as they say... Done :D

If its power your after then, exhaust, air filter, fuel pump and a bit more boost will see ya right :D

Laters

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved S body,
but rather to skid in sideways screamin woooohoooo watta ride!!!
