Hi guys, when i have people in the back the rear wheels scrape the inside wheel arch. would this be caused by shocks or springs. Thanks david |

are they 17" alloys? maybe get smaller tyres? if the shocks are going then they would be leaking oil i should think. |

i am running 17" but the tyres are quite low profile, i cant see any oil. i will try and take a closer look. do you think its the springs worn. Thanks david |

are they the original springs? if so i would guess they would be as i just replaced mine with eibach springs and the old ones were very worn. im sure it even raised the car slightly which would suggest they were worn. |

Springs are normally fine but STIs do allegedley suffer from rear shock problems but i'm not sure which versions |

No mud flaps, it is for sure the tyres on the wheel arch as they are all rubbed and they stink when i pull over. thanks |
