Well Johnny.....i press a little button marked "open" and the front drops open then i press another little button named "eject" then this happens.....![]() and if by magic the CD pops out.. its all clever stuff you know :lol:

You know...that little project I made with the relocation of the heater cotrols...well... it all worked fine with another diferent make flip front stereo i moked up with as it was all done with spare parts and not the ones that were in the car hence the pioneer stayed there till the last change over minute :lol: |

Peak boost of 1.2bar Im still learning how to set it up gained loads of info today from the net..once you can navigate the menu's its pretty straight forward, well it is for a basic setup. Ill go out next week for a few late night sessions when thers no cars on the road

I run the same boost computer on my GTI-R I run the Apexi AVCR and also the Apexi SAFC II IMamura Version Air/Fuel computer. I havent read the whole thread but make sure you take it somewhere to set up the fueling properly if you dont know what you are doing obviously as if not set right you can wave bye bye to your engine. I can also reccomend ( if you are to self map it) an INNOVATE WIDEBAND lambda gauge and probe to give you your real time fuelling. ALSO i reccomend you get a new boost gauge as the stock ones are sh1te and get exhaust temp gauge as you wont have any idea things have got too hot til its too late.. i run all of the above on my GTI-R and self mapped to 1.1bar to get approx 310 - 320 bhp.... nice piece of kit... |

he has a remap chip fitted to his ecu, the avc-r was to sort out his boost dropping off etc. i had an safc and sold it, they arent that great really for the extra money its better getting an emanage IMO My old Gti-R (chiefs old rustbucket) ran 296bhp @ 1bar, and that was with the stock management. Would deffo recommend AVC-R's though!!! |
