steam perhaps? if your on the throttle your induction kit would be sucking the air away from the vent? or is it the passenger side or main vent?

it comes out the small bonnet vent on drivers side but it looks like its forced out when i lift from the throttle as you would expect pressure to be released from the DV but its nowhere near that

If your covers have been removed then its probably just steam, being a wet day an all. The headers get wet and the steam escapes through the vents.

it might be cold intercooled air meeting warm under bonnet air when your dump valve releases pressure had it on my scoob as well :)

i had the same problem, it turned out to s split header tank and was dripping down on the headers and when i had my foot down the induction kit was sucking through the steam when i took my foot off it allowed the steam to go up and out the vents.

hope this helps David

thanks David, i believe its steam from damp on the headers as i have no covers on my vents but isnt from header tank as its brand new ;) plus when its been dry it doesn't steam.
