right then typical ebay stating the headers were ok for rhd models. i knew they were going to need modifying so not too pissed about it. it just annoys me when people can't get there facts straight.
anyway the o2 sensor location IS in the wrong position so will fowl the steering rod.

anyhow not too much of a problem as i stayed on at work to fit the o2 sensor in the down pipe instead..

first take one o2 sensor and one off cut of stainless steel.
Posted Image

drill it, bore it out and thread it for the o2 sensor boss
Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

make sure it fits LOL
Posted Image

as its fitting on the side of the pipe i have to machine in a radius so it butts up clean against the pipe ready for the welders

Posted Image
Posted Image

its a bit long so i shorten it to the depth of the thread on the o2 sensor
Posted Image

just need to drill hole in down pipe and get it welded up

Thanks mate it seemed like people had switched off lol.

can't wait to get it done but also i want it done properly so taking my time and being methodical!

the biggest problem so far was trying to get the flywheel boths undone. i have never strained so much trying to undo bolts before in my life and im a maintance engineer!!!

thats what im hoping especially with the full stainless system from the block back. ;)

many people say why bother with the non turbo just drop in a tt lump. tbh the US can seem to get some nice power figures from there na's so im going to see what i can get. its easy to drop a tt lump in i want a challenge :D
