well i have been pretty inactive on here as of late . its probably because i have had the Z off fo the road for a few weeks as the clutch is on its way out and have no tax but all that is about to change so been pretty fed up without my toy!!! I have managed to aquire the funds needed to sort the clutch so am going to also do the following mods to give it a bit more power may get a slating but im impressed by another NA z owners power figures only after a few subtle modifications so this is what im planning on doing over the next few weeks. replace rear crank seal lightweight fidanza flywheel oem clutch fit phnw decat pipes (finally as i have them already) z centre st/st mid section exhaust st/steel tubular exhaust manifolds chip the ecu for mods and uk fuel + remove limiter now i have a good comparitor for when this is all fitted as my RR day output on a standard na engine with induction kit was 216 hp. im hoping i can get about 250 with these mods which i would be more than happy with tbh. im going to go for the ebay headers they are know for the o2 sensor located in the wrong place which in turn fouls the steering colum but i can get the o2 sensor boss moved through contacts in my trade. hopefully if i have enough funds available i can also get my spare bonnet sprayed up too so it will sort of bring it back to its former pre bricked condition. watch this space............................................... |
