when I got the car back after the respray it had a great shine and when i had it detailed it lasted for a while with an even better shine, but after reading up on the detailing forum I worked out my paint just wasnt flat enough to shine. (well it has never been mopped properly) So i tried some aggresive pads with aggresive abrasives and it did nothing. ![]() So i read up and took the plunge of trying some wet and dry 2000 sand paper. I was very nervous because if you take paint off you cant just put it on. Anyway 1 pic shows the door before (had a wash but didnt clean off drying water) and then couple of after pics. I think ideally i could do with taking a little bit more off, however I think thats me wanting it like OEM paint. Anyway pics below; ![]() ![]() ![]()

You need to get out more With the size of rears on mine, last thing im going to do is burn the tread off them any quicker! Didnt know where to go for quick pic and closest place to me. I really need a nice modern glass building behind the car for the style of car and get a good glass reflection shot. |
