Hi all just wondered what uprated clutches you use as mine is starting to slip and have heard good and bad views on all the different makes e.g ACT, SPEC, CentreForce, any experience would be great, the clutch needs to take around 300bhp -400bhp Thanks.

I use a ACT extreme organic clutch , Good for about 350-400 , On a car running 350ish bhp , No faults with it yet , Nice in traffic in comparsion with other performance clutchs , |

I had the RPS Max Puk clutch and Cyn-R-G flywheel on my 200... never had a problem with it, but it wore out very quickly. Replaced it with the Max Street clutch kit and it was brilliant. Rated at 350ish lbft torque and as easy to use as the OEM kit. |

I use the Exedy very nice clutch with OE feel to it but much less travel on the pedal (hits a hard point half way). As for price I dont know how it rates as just went on recomendations from other users from the same mark £315 delivered is what it cost. |

Thanks, yes it's for my 240z as I was slipping the 280z turbo clutch after only 700 miles and 10psi, so have had the pressure plate doubled in clamping force cleaned up the flywheel, deglazed the disc and refitted it's holding after a breaking period of 250miles but still seems a bit soggy if you know what I mean, on the other hand I don't want a super harsh clutch which will be a nightmere in traffic.
