I've a Clifford Concept 600 ,i've had it since i bought the impreza (5 years) and it has been very reliable ,proximity sensors,BlackJax (anti hijack not the card game  ) fitted by http://www.pjd-carsecurity.co.uk/ who had fitted Clifford immobilisers to 2 of my previous cars. But i do think the with the Clifford systems they are more expensive then the competitors without having that much more. To anyone who's got a Toad Cat 1 does it have a Valet mode? |

Cliffords didn't really have the best of names, but they have changed owners since then who are really investing some money in the compnay. On certain models I'm pretty sure toad use the same board as a clifford too!!! As said previously a lot of it is down to poor fitting, i know problems can and do arrise, but this can be said for anything electrical. I've got a clifford on my scoob and can't fault it one bit. |

Yes got the one for the truck from Paul@pjd must give him a call to see if he can tweak it a bit. I really like the 480xv and if it turns out good with some adjustments will get the the scorpion in the scoob changed for another one of those otherwise a toad it will be. |

Well....strange enough, i did change my mind at the last minute and went for the Sigma. Mainly because the Toad alarm was the C5 model not the Ai606. However that aside i had a chat with the installer, which did reasure me that the Sigma was newer technology and far more programmeable/ upgradedable etc. TBH it seems fine so far. Its a tidy install, small alarm sounder is really unobtrusive in the engine bay. Biggest trouble i found is there were no reviews on the alarm to get a good idea what your paying for. So this will be the test. I will update in a couple of months to confirm its working fine still....... or not as the case maybee. cheers for the advice peeps.
