hi guys, my car was running real lumpy when cold so i changed the.

1. maf sensor
2. coil pack
3. coolant temp sensor

after changing the coolant temp sensor it ran like a dream for about 4-5 days and now AGAIN it is running really lumpy when cold, as soon as it warms up it fine.

the coil pack and the maf was second hand when i got them.

any idears what els it could be.

Im no expert on Scoobies but could it be the water pump? Or heater matrix? Or thermostat?

Can you not run an engine diagnostics to bring up fault codes which may point you in the right direction?

if it was a minor leak yes as metal expands when hot hence seals the gap

i took the car for a long drive to marewell zoo today and noticed that when its cold its realy lumpy and when its warm i thought that it was fine but its not.
even when warm it still hesitates and some times missfires, it also seems to be holding back quite a bit.

Thanks David

Easiest way to find an air leak; Spray bottle with some fairy liquid in, rev the engine to about 2000rpm and spray the pipes around the turbo/inlet manifold and watch for bubbbles

took the car to triton and they said its the o2 sensor, there was no cell light but the voltage going in and out wasnt changing so they think its the o2 sensor.

i will still check for air leaks as i think there maybe something eles at play aswell.

Thanks David
