hi all

does anyone have access to or know of a friendly garage that has a bush press???

i have a complete rear set of powerflex bushes i want to fit and i have a spare set of suspension arms to fit them in, the only problem is either finding a garage that isnt going to sting me for pressing around 12ish bushes out and pressing 2 in or better still finding someone who has one who would like some beer tokens to allow me to do it myself.

any info would be of help i have had the bushes about a month now and really need to get them fitted. most place i have contacted so far either dont do them in house or dont do them at all.....

cheers

you can actually save yourself some money and remove them yourself its not that difficult, use a blow torch and burn them out.

thats the way all the honda boys have been doing theres, burn out the old bushes and use a bench vise to get the new ones in, its how i'll be doing mine in the future aswell.

i know you would normally burn them out but have spoken to a few rx specialist who dont reccomend it due to the rx suspension arms being alluminium and not cast steel.
