Slight problem, I went out in the car 2nite put my foot down hit 1.8bar let off floored it again only hit 1bar and made a horrible whine, sound fine on low PSI. Checked the turbo there is a fair bit of play, do you think it could be rebuilt with a rebuild kit? if it was fudged would it not still hit 1.8bar tho? Not running a DV probally hasnt helped, Dont seem to have much luck with this car :lol: Any info would be appreciated guys |

It could be rebuilt but imo its normally just as cost efective to buy a new one. Try a few more runs in it though, could have been your ecu cutting back the timing for some reason and have you changed anything on the car recently.

Fellai have simular problem with scooby, one minute i have 0.9 bar then 0.5, when it was at tritions last months, the guy said to me, its more then likly the wastegates getting stuck....... any good to ya...??

Is it possible to check the ECU for fault codes? If the engines anything like the 3S-GTE you'll have a fault code stored if the ECU has been interfering. |
