want to fit a dawes device to my dads type r but want to be 100% on what pipes have to be removed and which pipe to put the device in to? do you think it will be easier to see what is going on in two weeks time when i replace the turbo for the one i have at work? |

The 90degree end goes to the actuator and the straight end to the turbo. A dangerous game your playing tho if its just to up the boost,is there a boost gauge fitted to set it up? |

yeah it has a boost gauge fitted and i am not uping the boost at all it is purely for the reason that the standard boost controller is wore out. |

Probably the actuator has gone weak. |

well in 5th gear it holds boost really well but in every other gear it is all over the place |

Does the car actually feel odd when going through the gears? ...just wondering as might actually just be something wrong with the gauge

yeah the car has no power after 5500/6000rpm and never hits full boost. and the gauge is spot on in fifth exactly wot it is might to reach and stays dead on 1.2bar and goes like a train but other gears are no way near as powerful |

The car will not hit full boost in the lower gears like it does in high gears. |
