You would have to ask Scott because as far as i know he maps the chip for the model year of car. Mines mapped for an RA which has a 7.5k rev limit to wouldnt be advisable for a normal WRX.

But but but but.....you run separate boost control so it may be fine but dont take my word for it.

i wouldnt bother with a td05, could make driving with the auto box a right pain

Starlet GT 1.3 forged engine, tdo4 turbo @ 1.25bar = 252bhp = SOLD :(

EDIT: Charade GTxx 993cc three cylinder turbo, 173bhp @ 1.4bar (should hit 200bhp with a larger throttle body, removing stupid high lift cams and a bit more boost)

A Z4 will not work right with a TD04 mate its mapped for a TD05 and as i said it will be to laggy with the autobox, your best bet is a VF series turbo VF28's are readily available and would be better on your box.

If thats the case and you have deep pockets speak to Andy Forest about one of his Hybrid TD04's.....They wont run about of puff like the standard TD04 and are good for 320bhp and similar torque with full boost still coming in the same as the standard turbo,i think they are £400 on an exchange basis.

ah that sounds better jay,if i slap an 05 on then id need a new chip so by the time id done that it would be roughly be the same price as the hybrid td04. by the way the earth grounding kit has made noticable improvements on a lot of aspects in the car,so they are not a waste of cash they actually work! mine cost 22.95 from scoobyparts.com,

bs  no seriously it idles better theres no interferance on radio my dash lights used to go dimmer when you put on main beam now they dont just seem a whole lot smoother down the bottom end revs. if you notice our scoobs only have 1 earth off battery to the gearbox,no direct chassis earth or sod all which aint to clever on a car loaded with electronc control systems so better earthing is bound to make improvements on their operation.

No...actually the td05 would cost you about £100 and with the chip you could make some arrangement for a remap on it or in change for about £45-£50 delivered, so about £150 all in ;)

But as Jay said, the hybrid td04 will work best on your auto model :)
