I think looking at what the Americans do to scoobies is possibly a way forward in the modding stakes as over here i think it's a little stale.

the amount of the same posts on scoobynet on 'How do i get more power etc' is getting tiresome.

It looks awesome in the first pic, but I think the other angles are spoilt a little from the wing mirrors, exposed carbon on the doors and the spoiler.

People have to learn somewhere tho Paul, its not difficult to point them in the right direction. There was a time when none of us knew anything.

Nice find tho Jay, mean looking as hell but the carbon doors look rubbish to me.

that's a fair point BUT there is a search engine avaliable on scoobynet (as i'm sure there is on all major marques) and the archive is massive it's a bit simplistic if you don't pay, a lot better if you do so why don't people use it?

I used scoobynet a long time before getting my impreza to get the ins and outs.

fair point yes but i have to disagree, i don't know about scoobynet but on all the forums i use the search function is absolute shite, you never get what you want because its full of the same thing, everybody tells you to use the search function, but when you do all you find is other peoples response saying use the search function, how is that helping? i got sick of searching through pages and pages of crap to find an answer so i posted up, and what did i get, 'use the search function'. yeah because i hadnt spent over an hour looking through all the crap already <_<

:2p:

If everyone used the search function then tech forums would be full of useless threads...isnt the idea of a forum, an information tool.

A very large chunk of my knowledge is from reading forums, reading books and getting my hands dirty due to 10 years in the motor trade and i for one have no problems passing on the knowledge i have gained from doing so.

It really pisses me off when people say "use the search function"...a very large portion of people that use car forums actually know feckall anyway they are just repeating what they have seen posted...

Believe it or not i would never say 'use the search function' as i've been on the end of that response.
Normally i will just link to posts/people that have the answers already which they could have easily found but do steer them gently towards the occasional search function use :)

Andy this 'yeah because i hadnt spent over an hour looking through all the crap already' if i can't find anything i also start the post of with 'Used the search function but couldn't find anything' line as a disclaimer :D

even if i've mentioned that i used the search and found nothing it gets the same response, people are too lazy to try and help you thats all, they think everything is easy to find.
