Not my cup of tea but if it's a good spec and suits your needs then fair play!

(it does look a bit like a tarts boudoir inside though! :P ;) :D)

lol at 28 thats bad hey! its the vvc engine but will ultimatly become fee's car when i get bitten by the bug, got to get the sleepless nights out the way, and if the head does go at least i can get to the engine easily in this one compared with others.

rob interior is lush mate, and i'd quite happily spend my time in a tarts room lol.

its more of a run around while we cope with new addition, and elaine sussshhh! :assbeat:

Nice find !!!

May only have been 795 in the UK, but I bet the original BRM P261 is a bit rarer ;)

its funny people kept telling me it was 200bhp but i thought that was a mith and there all 145, i'm going to play safe and say 145 but the power for a rover is actually impressive its no super car but pulls very well, you've got my hopes up now john but i'll stick with 145. but a cheap 145 so happy.

its 145, its the 1.8VVC variable valve timing K series engine, the same that is fitted to many lotus Elise's

A lot of you would be surprised at the performance i think though ;)
[GK-customfield]Lewis[customfield-GK]
Starlet GT 1.3 forged engine, tdo4 turbo @ 1.25bar = 252bhp = SOLD :(

EDIT: Charade GTxx 993cc three cylinder turbo, 173bhp @ 1.4bar (should hit 200bhp with a larger throttle body, removing stupid high lift cams and a bit more boost)

I think not as it is factory fitted and an actual distinction to the limited edition model.

I think the orange looks too tacky and in your face for a small car! Sprayed silver they look subtle.

The lotus engines dont suffer from the dreaded head gasket problems as they are slightly different and to their spec but the MGF with the VVC does and it will its not just the gaskets but Rover admitted they have problems with the heads being porous, One good tip is use a freelander head kit if........when the gasket goes they last longer :)
