Wonder if theres any technical reason for choosing a 4WD car if or its just to be different.

Why use an RB25 and not an RB26 is more to the point?

Either way mad project and kinda cool in a way. :)

Mad yes buy surely pointless..

Phil Morrison spent 6 months putting a Supra straight six into an immaculate S15... you could ask the same question I guess.... WHY ?

The answer is easy... because they can :P

If it's a drift car it'll be converted to RWD I expect. :)

Yeah but why not weld up the transfer box on the scoob then take the front shafts out it has been done before.

Plus you can keep the noise of the scoob.

I think you are missing the point here a bit...

Just like you said its been done before so its not really going to breack front page.

As Daniel Said, because they can and also because it makes good advertisment ;)

Oh yes i know.. Just wondered if there was any technical advantage in starting out with a 4WD car.

I'm guessing 4WD cars have less weight over the rear axel. Maybe that'll make it easier to drift

Seems a bit of a waste of a type R scoob to me

They could have just got a ratty chavscoob and done it to that.

Oh no i see the point, but why loose the famous noise of the scoob.

I just love the noise of any flat four
