hi guys, when my turbo starts to boost very first starts it flutters quite a bit before it goes in to full boost, do all scoobys do this as my other wrx i had before did the same thing. once it goes in to full boost it is less fluttery but is stll there. thanks |

It's the Bov, sounds like it has a weak spring. Nothing to worry about the Turbo will be fine. |

i blanked off the dump valve today and took it for a spin, it drove really differently, going in to boost seemed to go on for longer, it didnt reach full boost for quite a while yet smoother but the flutter noise was still there not as much and for not as lond but was still there. what els could it be instead of the bov thanks David |

What type of car is it and what top mount intercooler is fitted to the car. I ask this because my wrx does the same thing and its feedback from the turbo through the sti v4 tmic i have in my wrx. |

its a 94 sti with an aluminium tmic. i am almost sure that it has something to do with the boost controller as yesterday i noticed that the controller wat ticking loudly. i will change it and see what happens |
