Hi, does anyone know if you can get bent alloys repaired? Some repair companies iv seen will swap curbed wheels plus 60 quid for a refurbed one but dont want bent ones.

I guess you would have to heat treat them, and then you will be messing up the chemical bonds???? Weakening the area??? Anyone have any ideas??

If anyone knows of a company that might want them let me know as i have two bent oz wheels in the shed not doing anything. (wasnt me was my dad, on his car :doh: )

Not sure but there is Alloy Magic (behind Protyre in Poole) they do refurbs but not sure about repairs or andy giles in the Vendor section does refurbs but once agian not sure about repairs.

i wouldnt bother with alloy magic i wouldnt say they are refurbisher!! they are more a wheel repainter. i would honestly send them to sombody that advertises wheel repairs such as http://www.alloywheelrepairs.net/
