ok i ve had to change my front indicators and i ve run into a problem..the o/e indicator used a 382 12v 21w buld but the new indicator uses small bulb holders ie side repeator size x2 = 501 12v 5w bulbs they are wired in but flash to fast what can i do to sort it.

if they are flashing too fast compared to normal it usually means you have a light out along that side of the car? have you checked the other bulbs are flashing bob? are you not abl to re-use the old indicators?

the problem you have is the relay is set to run o a set wattage by decreasing the wattage the relay supplies too much voltage giving the impression a bulb is out ie flashing too fast so you need to either fit a differant relay or fit a resistor in the line relay easiest option hope this helps :thumbsup:
