I dont see the prob with pointed out horric cars. That spoiler is made for a widebody. Its like a really fat person wearing a thong. Whats the point?

There was a rule put in place after a new member joined and posted pics of his car and a certain member completely ripped the piss and told him his car looked shite!

Not good for welcoming new members I think you'll agree!!

Hence the rule was put in place. :)

The person who buys this car could be in the local area and join the club as a new member and how would they feel if they read this??

The rule is there for a good reason :)

Feel free to post some of the groteques that are built in the states though as it's very unlikely they will ever be on our shores!

i totally agree, aftermarket spoilers are fine, but something that big surely shouldnt be legal, how does it get under low bridges?

Ok some constructive criticism here...Either he losses the spoiler or he has no chance of selling it!....especially for 9K....the thing is the car has a nice spec and IMO its just spoilt by the awful bodykit.
Being a member of the scooby community.. .. i know how the car will be perceived by other scooby owners with a look of... :omg:

The way i see things is if i post pics of my car then i would expect feedback good or bad as long as the bad was constructive and done in a manner that was not taking the piss.

That one time that the new member joined and had his car ripped apart was IMO a one off. The member or even members that made those comments had no respect for no one and offered nothing at all to these forums apart from daily piss taking and argumentative posts.

If by chance( which i dout will happen) the new owner signs up to these forums and asks for comments on his car id tell it as it is, in a polite way as not to offend.

But i must say...some car owners cant see the wood for the trees...

I think the only excuse for owning a massively OTT car like that is if you making a mint off it by taking it to car shows like Max power etc. After all the whole point of a show car is to be radically different from everyone else for better or for worse.

Why anyone would do that to their own, personal, car though, the mind boggles.
