at the moment, the aircon radiator goes right across thr front.
is it possible to get a smaller radiator made up, or off a another car, so that it doesnt take up so much space,

Starlet GT 1.3 forged engine, tdo4 turbo @ 1.25bar = 252bhp = SOLD :(

EDIT: Charade GTxx 993cc three cylinder turbo, 173bhp @ 1.4bar (should hit 200bhp with a larger throttle body, removing stupid high lift cams and a bit more boost)

yeah, not soming you can bodge your self, although if found a rad and mounted you could just get the pipes made,
just wondered if it was possible,

as i would have thought the radiator would be that size for a reason, for how much the pump goes on that vehicle and how much gas a particular vehicle uses. but i dont know.

any one know any specialists in aircon specialists?

if you want to keep air con in your car i wouldnt start messing with the size of the a/c rad.

if you want the space for other things you will have to remove the a/c completly.

I agree with cyman its easier to remove completely than messing about with a smaller rad, but get it discharged properly as it is against the law and a health a safety issue letting either R12 or R134A into the air :)

yeah, i have been thinking about removing it, but, even though we only get a few hot days, its nice to have,

and if i was to remove it, i would be the kind of person that would take everything out, that means the condensor in the dash as well, and i cant be assed. lol

any way was just an idea i tought about, just didnt know the answer. lol

these guys are right, the ac system will be designed to use a certain size condense coil(ac rad).changing this size will make the system not work efficiently.
