I'd vote for MR2 turbo...but cheap and turbo don't usually go together very well. :dunno:

As whats been stated,2 completely different cars...for a start ones a rally car the other a
hairdressers car... :P :P :P ....but in all seriousness they can not be compared in any shape or form....both cars offer completely different things.

Very true .. i would normally steer well clear of abnormally cheap cars but this one needs a new CAT or lambda sensor. Just hopping that's the only reason :S

The cars are very different but my main criteria is price, track day performance, insurence costs and fuel consumption which come out almost the same based on a same age WRX.

I'd love a scooby as there so well planted in all whether.. there never going to snap and kill you like an MR2 there again i'm a sucker for anything with its engine in the middle and it'll be summer soon. B)

Think i'll have to go and see the Mr.. no harm in looking

Oh yeah forgot about having to change my name.. damn :wallbang:

Hairdresser’s cars :o

+1 for the MR2! I like scoobies, they're great and all for off road, traction etc etc but the MR2 is way cooler on the road except on ice and then they're leathal! That's obvious!

But the MR2 is, how do i put this, not uncommon!! But the scooby has better extras and can probably be used as an all round car much more than the MR2!

Your really weighing sporty low slung unpractical under rated retro looking road car with a practical, fast, excellent traction, good looking (except the bug eye model and the, dare I say, latest model uGhh!) but globally recognised car.

I just think the MR2 is a bit more unique and retro power!

That's just my opinion though, Im also a Toyota freak!
