Anyone got any ideas on how i can fix it?? cos its ruddy annoying! :wallbang:

You need to find out if it is the sender or the gauge that is at fault.

I would put a volt meter on the gauge wire and see if the voltage is changing when the gauge moves around, if it is then the sender is the problem if not it is the gauge.

What age is you car, if it is an older one you can normally follow the copper track on the rear of the dash pod. The fuel gauge will have three connections, one for positive one negative and one from the sender. the positive and negative will also go to the other gauges so they should be easy to spot.
