I want some advice, been offered a mk4 supra NA auto. Im not fussed about the speed etc just looks and noise. Ive already discussed with Maiko and baby arrangements and baby in front seat if rears not enough and she will happily sit in the back. Can you get a pushchair in the boot? How bad are the running costs? Id love a supra, awesome and its white. Running cost not so bad now as come into some cash but i really want to get away from turbocharged cars as i dont like them. |

One thing to be aware of mate. Not sure if this applies to the Supe or not but you can't really have a baby seat in the front if there is an airbag as it's very dangerous. |

the car is Insurance Group 19. Yes you can get a push chair in the boot as many have, im sure its tight though and I guess may depend on push chair and how flat it folds, but im no expert ![]() As Rob was saying if it has an airbag on the passanger side its illegal to have a baby chair in the front unless the car has the function to turn off the passanger seat airbag. airbags came in on late 96 < on the supra The passanger airbag is removed by people to install gauges sometimes anyway. Also a baby seat will go in the back for a while (dont know how old your child is) |

yes both the same insurance group I believe, I dont know why but im guessing because the NA doesnt have a UK spec equivilant. Ive owned both, running costs are near enough the same too. The insurance on a TT will often be cheaper or the same as the NA as I found out when going to a TT the NA roughly only gets a few MPG better. Its the modding bug of the TT that costs the money. My white NA I had for 3 years and it was perfect the whole time. |

MPG is roughly 23 - 25 town driving on motorways the top I got was 29mpg. Put your foot down and your probably about 21mpg. This is a couple of pics of my old White NA Manual, it was an early 96 model (non facelift) ![]()

The NA engines are practically bullet proof. The boot is quite big, but it's not very deep. My Supra TT does about 25 mpg if you drive it nice. Keeping off the turbo as much as possible. Great car to own. Plenty of toys for the money  |

I get 19-20 mpg on a day-to-day basis in my TT, up to 30 on a long run. N/A's aren't much better apparently. The reason the insurance is the same is that the N/A's are imports the same as the majority of TT's and the InsCo's treat them all the same. The cheapest for insurance is a UK TT. I'd try a trial fit of the baby seat in the back before buying TBH. Better than subjecting your missus to the rear seat - she'll hate it.
