I couldn't work out why my exhaust was moving around so much. So i checked all the exhaust mounts, but everything seemed ok. Now i have realised that one of my engine mounts has fallen apart. I have an engine damper that helps stop movement, but i will have to change the mount soon. Does any one know a good place to order such things. Was going to get some polyurethane ones.I have a civic vti 96 hatch

I am sure there are plenty of tuning companys out there that will do poly engine mounts, do a search on the net.

If you want a standard item there is either part-co or camberlys.

cheapest way for uprated mounts is http://www.funkypower.co.uk/catalogue.php?...id_product=4226
depending how bad your bushes are id recommend getting new oem bushes and using these, its considerably cheaper and these have been getting some good reviews.
just an idea, i'll dig out some more stuff tomorrow when i can think of it.

Nearly bought some of these for mine actually, but think im gna go for the real thing... not to say they arent any good tho cos they probably are. You can also get this stuff that you fill your standard mounts with to make them solid, il try n find a link.

importnut - this explains it, personally i wouldnt use it but worth a look huh!!?

i've seena few reviews of people that have used the stuff you mention simon, its 50/50 if its any good or not, some say it works but is alot of effort to install, others say it doesn't last very long, but then that could be down to how its been installed.

Cheers guys. The thred was interesting. i definantly have a lot of wheel hop. And the power isn't getting down properly. I think if i didn't have the engine damper then my car would be fooked. Think i'll have to get the poly mounts, they seem the way forward. More torque would be good. Just have to spend the money. :)

Will have too see both your cars at the next meet. Simonek87, guess your car is the same as mine. Same colour as well, but do you have a turbo. One of my mates will be joining soon. He has a delsol sir which he's just had a turbo fitted to with full respray. Looks the nuts. :drive:
