do you mean the one that sends the signal showing throttle position to the ecu? |
| Nissan built an Impreza before Subaru, its called the GTi-R | |

WELL THE THING IS i just got a cable link from pedal to throttle body, cant seem to see any switches near pedal. code never showed up before just chipped ecu today and checked 1st time there were no fault codes and i decided to check again a while ago and for some reason its showing code 43. but it runs sweet without any check engine light showing when test wires are disconeccted..... im puzzled

ive also learnt that the scoobys with a z4 ecu had a electronicly controlled accelarator rather than cable....is this correct? And these remap chips we buy are originally designed for this ecu so they will have code 43 programmed on them anyway to cover that feature. However my car has a 4b ecu and cable throttle so even tho i dont have accelerator pedal switch when i check fo faults the new ecu picks up that is not there and just assumes faulty switch could that be why its showing this code? there possibly just answered my own question...how cool
