I have got a lovely deep arc of a scratch on the driver's side of my windscreen, courtesy of a bit of grit in my wiper blade

It's right across my field of view and catches the sun when driving, which is very distracting.

Anyone know if scratches can be polished out ?
If so, any idea where I can get it done, and how much it might cost me ?

Cheers,
Daniel.

Going to need a bit more than that - it's quite deep.

Wondering if it is actually repairable, or if I need to claim on my insurance for a new 'screen.

Glass is tough stuff to polish, best to leave it to the professionals tbh as you can create and optic in the glass if not careful...

Just phoned RAC windscreens and they said if I could get my fingernail in the scratch then it's a new windscreen time

Oh well, only £50 excess I guess.
