Hi after opinions and facts on the 300zx i've liked the look for ages but found them a little big looking for me but now developed a soft spot for them.

Whats the power and ride like and whats the auto box like in them, also does this look like a good example, twin turbo 55,00 miles twin pipes, the alloys skirts but autospastic?

i hate autos due to that constant drone, but could live with it as been offered it at a good price.

I don't know an awful lot about them.. but.... there may well be a whole bunch of them at the Bakers Arms meet... (unconfirmed at this time though :) )

I'm sure Hellraiser may be able to tell you all you need to know. :)

Driven a few in the past, i think they are a very nice car, and the auto's are really nice they seem to have a very smooth box.

Ive heard they're on a par with N/a & TT supras. Roughly the same power i think!

I thing they're nice cars, I watched a program on men & motors about them and this enthusiast was saying in his opinion it was the best sports car for the money! In a way i would agree as theyre cheap as chips!

Nearly bought a manual N/A once. What put me off is that it didn't seem that fast. I had a GTE 16V at the time, which felt more rapid.
Twin Turbo is apparently a flyer, although I was told they chew manual trans, which would explain why there are lots in auto spec.
To be honest i would be tempted by one, as its a lot of car for the money. They look B) as well.

a gte is a shit box light weight car which would feel like a metro with a 2.o engine its going to seem faster . your looking at a heavier smooth v6 engine which delivers power to the rear wheels and the are going faster then you think. i personally love my non turbo manual z.

the gearboxes can suffer from problems but mainly due to lack of maintance. like any car its as strong as the care thats put into it.

they don't chew transmissons thats a myth. they can suffer from weak syncros on 4th.

buy saying they are a lot of car for the money is a very true statement but be prepared , if you pay cheap at the beginning you will pay dearly in the end especially on tt's if a turbo fails its an engine out job which will cost you 2k

as for looking cool. i agree with you 100%
