After my slight 'off' at Brands Hatch, I've attacked my steering setup.

I'm replacing the control arms (driftworks CF arms), track rods (Tein) and the steering rack bushes (Apex). I'm still waiting on Tein parts and its getting a bit close to the rolling road day :(

I'm waiting for apex to reply.

Got another problem though, the thread on my lower arm ball joints is fecked, must have hit them too hard to get them off the hub  Gonna have to sort a die

Both are knackered  They are fitted now too, so I'd rather just run a die over it, its only just the first part of the thread, enough to stop the nut fitting :wallbang:

Starlet GT 1.3 forged engine, tdo4 turbo @ 1.25bar = 252bhp = SOLD :(

EDIT: Charade GTxx 993cc three cylinder turbo, 173bhp @ 1.4bar (should hit 200bhp with a larger throttle body, removing stupid high lift cams and a bit more boost)

So close yet so far away <_< My Tein track rods turned up today. Its just the lower arm threads that are stopping me from getting the old 200 back on the road. I MAY even make the RR weekend :getinthere:
