As above I need to find a local engineering company that can do all my block work, balancing etc.

I don’t want to use a tuner, I really want to find a good engineer with plenty of experience in automotive engines.

Would be great if they can do some port work but this isn’t 100% needed.

Not worries if they don’t know the SR20DET engine, all I need is someone who is hot on the foundation principals of automotive engineering.

And help would be great :D

A couple I hhave found but havent spoken to are:
www.chesmanengineering.co.uk
www.tetroc.co.uk/aboutus.htm

AHHHHH Spelling error in the title!!!!!!

How about Richard Longman ?

5 Airfield Road,
Airfield Way Industrial Estate,
Christchurch,
Dorset.
BH23 3TG
Tel: 01202 486569

He's primarily an A-series mini tuner, but he knows his stuff, and is probably more capable at head work than the likes of APT etc (who farm their machining out to Scholar anyway).

PS - spelling error corrected ;)

Triton can build you an engine, but pretty sure that they don't do their own machining*. They probably farm it out to the place Justbutts got his engine done near the airport.

* I've not seen any lathes or CNC equipment there.

Triton outsource in the same way as APT. Good shout on JB, I'll drop him a PM and see where he got his work done.

The other contact sounds good, I like a nice bit of history
