anybody ever had these apexi induction kits before? and are they any good? :rolleyes:

Got one on my car and it's fine but you do need to sheild it from heat so it may be worth sticking to the panel filter.

It does much a nice whoooshy noise and makes the recirc valve sound like a dump valve (not that i'm a fan of dump valves).

Apex'i filters are the BEST filters around, both in terms of flow rate, and filtration. They are dry filters too, so less chance of them getting clogged up like the oiled ones do.

Would have gotten one for my MR2, but was offered a K&N for silly money so bought that instead.

I got mine from Australia for £50, good old ebay!! Didn't buy the one specifically for the impreza as the hole positions match that on the MAF anyway!
