Maybe some of you guys might be interested in this.

If there is enough interest I'm happy to organise a group buy. :)

The day will be run in 4 x 15min sessions-Novice, Intermediate A, Intermediate B and Advanced with 1hr and 15mins open pit lane at the end of the day.

Remember all cars have to pass a 100db’s noise check.

Good advice Leesa, I had some tuition at Spa and found that that helped loads and that was my first proper track day :)

Elaine Ive only done a few tracks, but could be your passenger for a few sessions if that would help...

Ian wouldn't mind seeing what the 2k is like on track, was speaking to a bloke at Brands with one and he said it was pretty good. Also detailed one last weekend and had a good look round it and quite like em...

Doubt I will have all the bits done to my car before, so will prob go book a day day at Coombe later in the year :)

Would it be possible for you find out if it is open pitlane or sessioned

Feb will still be a bit wet for trackdays i'd have thought thats my only worry :(

i know its for charity and all that but isnt it a tad pricy for unless im mistaked (and probably am)

1 hours track time and 1.5 hours open pitlane?

Also as paul say, bit too dicy with the wather, il wait for warmer times

Dude I think its an all day event not just 1 hour session and 1.5 open pit lane, so is prob something like 5 hours sessioned and 1.5 hours open pitlane...

Its sessioned and pitlaned Paul.

I like supporting charity and all, and I love my track days but Feb is probably to early and wet for me.

I would be up for that too, but as MR8 says its a bit of a risk with weather in Feb, and its £130 at the end of the day.

Also happy to scare people if I go!

From personal experience, the Circuit's own days are better run and better value B)

But if you want to support a charity go ahead.

I am definately up for going but will see how the weather is before i say i am going on track.

I have done the Castle quite a bit so if i take out the Rex anyone is welcome to come out with me. Don't worry, you will come back in one peace as i won't go balls out until summer.

Most important advice i have, especially if it is your first time on track (not saying i am the best) is to take it easy. If its your first time start at the back of the pack and wait for a space then go around comfortably and safely. It is an experience and not a race. By going last you don't feel compelled to race because you won't hold people up. Also if nobody is tailgaiting you then if you misjudge the line and do some crazy manoevres then you can't risk others cutting you up.

Might sound gay but if it is your first time, write it on the back window with chalk so people know to stay back.

My Rex got bitch slapped through The Esses (chicanes and Comb) but some throbber that overcooked it and slid out and hit me.

If it is your first time on track or around comb treat it like a road and keep left, that is the slow lane if you are being followed. That way faster cars will get past you and you will feel more comfortable about what they are going to do.

Sorry that was a bit of a speach, but it helped me the first time.

Ok, if you 100% no matter what the outcome want to do this put your name on this list..

Please don't add your name if you 'might' be interested.

If you put your name down you will be expected to pay the full amount in the first week of the new year.

As I said before, if there is enough interest I will look into group booking after Xmas.

The I want to do this 100% no matter what list!!
