hey fella spicked the car up today its ace! couple of things! 1. the boost guage reads 1.3 bar when on full boost 2. the brakes suck ass! i thought full boost was 1 bar? there is no boost controller on the car so how is it that high!!! |

Sorry just saw your picture. If it's boosting to 1.3 check the ecu for an extra chip (ecu is passenger footwell under a kickplate) brakes are 2 pots ,which, as you say suck ass either get new pads/discs and fluid for them or change to later model 4 pots or evenbigger (may require bigger wheels though. |

we found out it has the v22 turbo instead of the tdo5 does that mean more boost? |

well both the td05 and vf22 can take 1.4bar but it's how they spool up which is the difference. |

Both turbos will run about 26psi which is about 1.8bar but obviosuly it wont hold that kind of boost level. With standard engine internals the engine would probably only last 1 or 2 laps around the block....if your lucky :lol: Im sure it was only pre 96 cars with the spare socket in the ecu for a chip the, 4 plug ecu..... Yours is a 97 car yes? if so it should be a 3 plug ecu |
