mine was a 1988 corolla gti16 (ae92) if i had a pic id post 1 up ,it was white and dam quick to me. dan am i right in thinking that pic is just outside blandford in the very well used gravel layby

first proper car was a mk 3 zodiac with side pipes triple su carbs and raymond mays head keeping with the elliot tradition i converted it from auto to manual put a low ratio diff in it and had a catastrophic crash on xmas eve on the spur road while raceing a etype jag its not that funy when the no 5 con rod leaves the engine while your doing 125 mph :rolleyes: |

French "performance" cars rule!!! My first one was a clio 16v, handled like nothing else and was the quickest car in the world.......... The one below is actually of my 2nd one; liked them that much ! infact i have another one now as my work run-around, and it feels like the slowest thing ever! My first decent car was a 1972 Mk1 Ford Escort Mexico that I owned for less than a year back in 1983. It was Daytona Yellow, front and rear roll cage no diagonal, schroth harnesses, cobra bucket seats, Cibie Oscar plus spot lights, Burton alloy rocker cover, 4 into 1 tubular manifold, single box skidded exhaust, K&N airfilter, battery kill switch. It was old but good fun, bit like me :lol: |

Assuming a 1.3 Vauxhall Viva, 1.6 Cavalier, and 1.3 Orion don't count then...![]() It went to the car park in the sky about a year or so ago. In about 8 years of ownership it only ever let me down twice - and both times it was a clutch cable going. The engine would have gone on forever - shame the body was riddled with tin worm.
