Hi Jay,

Are you subscribed to some magazine that we don't know about???? You seem to get a new bit for the scooby every week!!

Should sound nice with the Apexi , on mine the blow off valve recirc’s back through, so no need for a big VTA.

Have you decided what turbine is going to be pushing all this lot along???

That’s the biggest & hardest decision of them all

Also, you going to get a boost controller to keep it all in check?

I was originally going to go the VF34/VF35 route and a power output in the region of 340-350 in time for the RR day. Now im going to hold off and not rush it but get it all sorted for next season with a TD05 18g so i can break the 350 barrier...should be fun....

Not going to bother with a boost controller been told dont need one with the ecutec remap just going to fit a 3 port boost solenoide...

Is that going to be an andy forrest TD05???

If you break the 350 mark does that also = uprated clutch and lightened fly...

Yes Andy F's 18G

Clutch and flywheel yes ...the biggest problem will be the gearbox not sure how much torque the UK newage box will take...i suppose were find out....

The 6 speeders are the strongest of the standard boxes, the 5's are good for about 360ish!!! or atleast the classics were! If the newage ones haven't changed then you are going to be on the limit! but then again from what i've heard some last and others don't, depends on how you drive and the delivery of the turbo!!

If you need to uprate the gearbox, get saving! A 6 speed conversion or PPG kit are both around the 4k mark! that would include a new clutch and fly though!

And then you have the worry about the engine!!!! Have heard of UK spec'd cars running 400bhp no problems at all, but i think they are in the minority; most tend to go bang way before that.

Keep an eye on the net, often get crashed damaged newage STI's selling the job lot.

How deep are your pockets? your getting in deeper by the minute
