Thats fucking redicullous Dale, I think you are far to mild mannered for your own good sometimes.

3 years to fix a problem! maybe the car was beyond their capabilities. But tbh its a joke and I wouldnt take my car there or suggest to anyone else I knew to go their after your problems.

Well do you remember what happened with GTR down in Poole?

I got really arsy and wrote a bunch of stuff up on All-Torque. Then they threatened to sue me for libel. I'm trying to avoid that again.

But I did get them closed down in the end...

So, fair enough, I may be a little mild mannered at times, but I'm getting the job done.

They've just recieved the letter I wrote.

And if you think I'll ever recommend them to anyone for their services again....

Finally!

It feels like it's all over now.

A rather dramatic ending, I'm sure Nick would agree.

I won't go into any details, but basically me and Trevor got into a bit of an argument over the whole situation.

So I ended up paying them and taking my car away on a trailer.

I'm trying not to be too bitter about it all, but it's difficult.

The Pulsar's outside my house now, and that's all that matters. End of.

I'll takes some pics of the unfinished beast and post 'em up tomorrow.

Well neither am I TBH.

It wasn't the money that bothered me though, it was the idea that they could hold on to my car for so long, damage it and still expect me to be happy.

But I was told that if I didn't sign their stupid disclaimer and pay up, then I couldn't move my car.

So I did and I've washed my hand of them now.

I cant beleive they had the audacity to expect you to pay for work they hadnt even carried out and the fact they had damaged your car.

Finally the weather cleared up enough for me to get on with a spot of cleaning...

BEFORE (I spent a good half hour cleaning the passenger side before I realised that I didn't take any "BEFORE" pictures)

As soon as.

He's just been looking at the old box. He recons it just needs the bearings replaced. So I'll have a spare if the new one decideds to pop it's clogs.

Yeah, he's gotta first speak with his manager to see if he can do during work hours or not.

Shouldn't be too long though.

Ok, so apart from all the cleaning I've done, there has been some progress made.

Butler's been round to help a couple of times. So here's what's been done so far...

Little bit of foreplay...

then down to action.

It's on, minus a few bolts, but it's on...

Can't say we've broken any records with what we've done. But it's now to a stage where it can be started at least (if I had a battery that is).

I need to get myself a new fan belt, and of course a battery. Then Butler's gonna be coming over with a pump to put in the gearbox oil. All that's really left to do then is the intercooler (old one's going on first, just to get it running), vacuum pipes, and other minor bits and pieces.
