Anyone else get annoyed by these things:

People who dally around - putting fuel in isnt fun (especially when it comes to paying!!) so do it as quick as possible!

People who fill up get back in car and then adjust mirror, put on makeup and select another CD from the glovebox!! - just go!

Chatters - the a place to fuel up not meet friends!!

People who wont pull forward into a empty pump when someone is behind them

When getting fuel drive in, fuel up and move the hell on!

(yeah incase you may guess iv just waied in a long que at esso with all of the above being displayed)

My favorite (probably not the right word!) is people who fill up and then spend 10 minutes browsing round the store before paying.... usually old folk..

Petrol is dencer when it is cold so you get a little bit more if you fill up when it's cold out! Apparently
I don't know if anyone else gets annoyed by this...but gererally you should enter the garages in the same direction....ie from the left hand enterance!

Hmmmm.. you might save a couple of pence in a full tank...

This frustrates me when people say "why do you waste your money on super fuel"... apart from anything my car requires it TBH... but... I have a big tank 65lt or something..so with super being about 2p more per litre (or maybe a bit more)... we're talking £1.30 more on a full tank of fuel!!

In france at least (probably other countries) they have a kiosk at the exit that you pay at drive-through style. This really speeds up petrol stations, great idea imo! Only disadvantage is no shop, but who buys stuff at a petrol station anyway? If anything its usually just a snack.

The other things that annoy me are fussy pumps which always click off when your filling up. So you have to try and get the pump at the right angle. And when my local station is always out of BP ultimate... grr...

There are plenty who buy stuff...

One bloke REALLY pissed me off a week or so back... BMW..

He pulled up to the pump after sitting in the very busy queue with stoopidly loud music playing... got out of the car, still with music blaring, only louder now coz he left the door open... seemed to have a stretch and a bit of a shuffle about (probably so everyone would look at him not realising everyone in the garage forecourt thought he was a complete dick), he then took his time about getting back in the car to fiddle with his music..got back out and filled with petrol (I am behind him all this time) ... he then went into the shop and started reading a magazine!

COMPLETE TOSSER! (BMW, what do you expect!) :fingerz:

Yes all of the above! Spot on.

It always seems that the pumps at the right side for my car are clogged with cars waiting for their owners partaking of any combination of these activities, while most of the pumps at the wrong side are free or will be very shortly. <_<

Always try to use Tescos 'Pay at the pump option' normally avoids retards.
Just to add to your list the queue you get when people 'have to use the pump that their fuel cap' is on FFS the nozzle will stretch over to the other side and believe it or not i've actually seen people pulling the trigger before putting the nozzle in the tank therefore spilling petrol on the floor so when i get out i nearly break my neck

i was waiting a in a big queue a while back, half the pumps wernt working, and i pulled up to an avaliable pump, behind a guy who had a bucket and sponge and was cleaning his windows and mirrors (where he got these i will never know).

i was in a crap mood and just blurted out with:
"Cant you see the massive queue over there? try being considerate, you could clean your car over there *points to the big space next to the petrol station, where people park if they just need the shop*"

he mumbled back summit i couldnt hear, and then to my horror began to fill up with fuel, i though he had already done it, he was at the pump when i started queueing

anywho, i filled up, and went in to pay (pay at pump is always down at tesco oxford), the guy was in front of me in the queue for the till:

"see it makes no difference, ive got to wait here and queue up, so how is that my fault" he says.

to which i politely pointed out that he would be in the queue earlyer if he had filled up ages ago, and that he didnt need to be at a pump to clean his car, the pump was however the only place locally that people could get fuel, ending with "try thinking about other peope in the future!" Im suprised loking back on it that i wasnt hit

the moral of the story: as unorthodox as it might be...vent that annoance on the person causing the problem, you feel a hell of a lot better about it :afro:

More likely, stupid girl

I can't really comment on this too much. I remeber on the way home from Germany last year, I took ages in the shop, and the car behind me was getting very annoyed with us. So much so, that he pulled up about 3mm from my car and began filling up his car.

Oh well

I get the odd petrol station attendant telling me all about how their mate has a Subaru / Nissan / Honda which is much faster.

I normally grin and just say ok, but one bloke wound me up when he told me that Subaru were better. Now im split on that topic so im not fussed, but it annoys me that people just have to tell you their view, even though you dont know them! This particular one was silenced after I asked just when he had driven either of them :)

Had the same thing in a shell garage once. Kiddie said his mates prelude 0-60 was 4 seconds....

The regular question is wow how fast you been.... I usually say 300mph and there was some left to go....

My misses had one of the guys from work say that my car was rubbish and had a crap exhaust (i just bought the first 5x3 oval i could find as i like the looks and the old one wasn't actually attached to the centre section), found out he drives one of those scooters that looks like a bike. I told her to tell him his L plates are rubbish but she won't. What kind of bloke works in superdrug anyway?
