Thats very impressive Not being a drag strip fan its hard to see the point of these cars (i'm not saying the above car is crap obviously). I do however like to see the cars that run high power being driven to and from the events (e.g. Rocket Ronnies' GT-R and Andy Forrests' Impreza) and not pampered pets being trailered everywhere. |

Andy Forest? never seen him drive to an event. No wing mirrors, no rear view mirror, no fog light, loud as fu@k. Need to ask him where he gets it M.O.T ed I know norris's evo is more of a track car than drag car, watch TOTB 5, he won the handling circuit and overall champion. Seen him run a nine second pass first time the car was out at the Pod(finished the car three in the morning) Paul from Zen drives his Scooby to and from events, and has managed a low nine. Also being very competitive in the Time Attack series. M6 BEG on here drives his SUPER LEMON too and from events. Ronnie's was trailered to TOTB last year in the back of Abbey's wagon. Keith Cowie needed his trailer to bring him home. These big horsepower cars are all fine and dandy but running them on the road is a little more tricky and the reliability becomes an issue. p.s. Had a lift in the Super Lemon just before xmas, too pick my nephew's up from school. John Begley |
