I think the Vspec model also has something different about the rear diff or something as well.

I read once that it was better to drag the non vspecs due to some reason or another with the diffs mentioned.

S2 GTR is a V spec yeah, aparently they have better oil cooling (twin oil coolers) to the diffs, aparently thoigh i may be wrong

i quite often see a silver/grey r34 gtr v-spec around blandford, seen it parked intown a few time...an old man drives it, jon i think you said you have seen it aswell.. correct me if im wrong

yeah the guy that drives it isn't exactly young, see it about all the time, either heading to pimperne or dorch usually, for an old guy though he does give it some, then again that car could bring out the racer in anyone, he flew past me and was just a spec in no time, and i was pushing 100 at the time.

oh yeah mart, have you seen the midnight purple skyline around blandford, seen it twice a couple of weeks ago, looked nice.

Well there is nismo nicks R33 GTR about which is white. I think hes from Dorch area? But that ran 550bhp wasnt it at the rolling road? So dunno what this 1000bhp one is.

Mart what was nicks 2nd white GTR? That was for drag wasnt it? the one he was selling

V Spec has a quicker reacting diff, and it has cooling fins on it IIRC.

doesn't the v-spec use a viscous coupling instead of a normal diff for the 4WD system. V-spec or V-spec II for me, hopefully there will still be some around when i'm in my late 20s and can actually afford both car and insurance :(

I was never sure of the differences between the GTR and the V-spec's. I just remeber one of the first R34's I saw was a bayside blue V-spec II, and I've wanted one ever since :lol:
