As above slightly used, make me an offer.

A few pics of my mullered fifth gear set. Happened before Xmas, I was thinking of changing the fifth for a UK spec one as they have a longer ratio than the STI gears. Keeping 1st to 4th STI and having the extra mph by using a UK 5th gear. But before I had chance to get the car booked in, that horrid whining noise(No not the missus) The car had eaten fifth gear .

Whist the gearbox was rebuilt, I had a Exeedy twin plate clutch fitted which will be more than able to handle this years upgrades. The car now runs a lot better, the clutch makes a rattling noise when disengaged which isn't the end of the world considering I can now launch the car at 5500rpm and light up all four tyres even with the DCCD switched to 50/50.

Paul explained to me that, the spigot bearing got to hot due to lack of oil, which contaminated the clutch, due to a worn bearing seal. The cost of such a seal and bearing is around £8:00.

Anyway well happy now the car is back on the road. Big thanks to Paul at Zen Performance.

Starlet GT 1.3 forged engine, tdo4 turbo @ 1.25bar = 252bhp = SOLD :(

EDIT: Charade GTxx 993cc three cylinder turbo, 173bhp @ 1.4bar (should hit 200bhp with a larger throttle body, removing stupid high lift cams and a bit more boost)
