Eleven Confirm Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

Eleven is going gangbusters on Twitter today, making themselves known. Along with their tweets saying “he11o” was this revelation:

Channel 10 have been relatively good about playing The Late Show with David Letterman consistently each weeknight for the past few years. It seemed odd, though, that they weren’t also screening The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson straight after. Ferguson is by far the most consistently funny guy on late night in the US and its a shame that he wasn’t getting an airing locally.

This is all set to change with Ten’s new digital multi-channel Eleven now airing the show locally when it launches in 2011. This does beg an interesting question as to what will happen now with Letterman. Will it remain on Ten, or will it migrate to Eleven to provide a consistant late night programing line-up (presumably Letterman, followed by Ferguson)? If it does make the move, this will mean the end of another Ten staple.

Will Ten in 2011 look anything like we’ve known it in recent years?
