Welcome to the online book discussion of American On Purpose by Craig Ferguson. I suggest you read the whole book before looking at the following threads. Though of course you are free not to, Chances are they will contain spoilers. To start... Reply to this thread by including: -If you’ve ever participated in online book discussion before, -Whether you have already read “Between The Bridge and the River” by Craig. If you plan to read it next, was that your plan or its just how its happening. More threads to help guide the discussion will be posted shortly. All I ask is that you keep all of the rules and guidelines to the Forum in mind when you make any posts. Any questions or concerns, let myself or another moderator know. I'm looking forward to hearing and sharing interesting thoughts and analysis of Craig's memoir. |

I have never participated in an online book discussion, unless you mean commenting on posts from other message boards. But, not specifically a book "discussion". I have read BTBATR, but it was awhile ago. So, I was planning on reading it again soon. Especially after reading AOP, I'd like to compare things to what happened to Craig IRL. |

I've discussed books online but I don't know if I was ever a part of an official book discussion. I've read both his books. It's been years since I read Between The Bridge & The River and right now I'm re-reading American On Purpose. I really loved AoP, Craig was brutally honest in it and helped me learn more about a man that I've adored for over twelve years. I remember being really confused when reading Between The Bridge & The River but I also remember liking it somewhat. I have to go back and re-read that book. |

Never participated in an online discussion. Read both BTBATR and AOP this past summer....also probably going to read BTBATR again after I finish my current book. lol. I think it'll be even better on the second read. Edited by RS24, Jul 13 2010, 04:44 AM.
