I got my copy yesterday, and finished it today. :)
It's absolutely amazing, and I warmly recommend everyone who haven't read it to do so.

It's an honest and moving, yet a very funny story of a man's life that was not remotely easy.
A long journey through all the difficulties, and how he overcame them, creating a good life for himself and his family.

I've never cried while reading a book, which obviously changed in the past 30 or so hours.
It's written in a normal, honest way, without the classic overdoing, sugarcoating and melodrama that book -writing celebs normally use.

I love how he graciously and lovingly talks about his family, and takes responsibility for all his actions.

All in all, this is my new favorite book! :D

Got mine the other day and as slow as I read, I'm getting through it pretty quickly. Trying to make it last, though.

I'm finding all the bits about drugs pretty interesting as I'm pretty naive in that area.

Renting my copy from the library cause Im poor as dirt lol. I love it... but its so sad. Its like watching a slow motion train wreak in parts. Even though I know it has a happy ending its so painful to read him hitting rock bottom or hurting himself with booze and drugs. Or worst of all... that one nearly fateful Christmas day.

Still love it though. Eventually Ill finish it lol

I listened to the audiobook because one: I'm a lazyass, and two: Craig's voice is soothing. I loved every part of this book. I remember being on a bus and listening to the book and I could stare at an empty space in front of me with a huge grin on my face. People must have thought I'm crazy :lol
Also, you would expect a book to end with a moving and strong point, but maaan. The last minutes of listening I experienced goosebumps throughout last chapter and damn that was inspiring, eh ?

This book was amazing!! It was so real and I love how he didn't twist things around to make himself look good. He tells the story like it happened. It was heartfelt and sometimes heartbreaking, but gladly it had a happy ending. This is the best memoir I've ever read, I highly recommend it.

I bought AOS on audiobook and love listening to it, mainly just to fall asleep to Craig's voice, lol.

His story affected me just as it did all of you -- I laughed and cried and at times I just wanted to reach out and give him a hug if I could. It was so good that I'm buying it in paperback for my boyfriend to read, and I also purchased Craig's novel, too. I'm hoping Craig's story will help my boyfriend....he has a drinking problem, and I hope he takes Craig's words to heart.
