The Court of Imperial Thrace is located in the city of Philippopolis, one of the cities on the border of Macedonia and Thrace. As a result of the city's proximity to Achaea, and Macedonia, the building possesses highly Hellenized features. From a distance, one might misconceive it to be a Greek Temple rather then a place of diplomacy and government matters. The rectangular building is supported by a myriad of beautifully crafted columns of white marble. The inner portions of the building are of the same level of beauty, and waves of diplomats and attendance traverse the building in constant waves. |
