LÉON BLUM II

Titles: First Chairman of the Party of the Peoples' of France, Premier of the French Republic, a.k.a. Trustee of the People
Ambition: To rise to the top to serve his people the way he sees to benefit the most people possible in the best way possible
Age: 36 years old
Tid-bit: Staggeringly popular among the people and has immense political capital to get what he wants done. Blum has substantially increased the power of the Premiership allowing, being the First Chair was a revolutionary idea proposed by him. He has is critics but most of the usurper are cast a side almost subconsciously, being left out of the media and being forgotten by the people even though they come to the Chamber of the Houses everyday!

History: Power of the people, endowed to Peoples’ Party of France. To be safe guarded and used for the People. Ever since the march on the Île de France the Party has been in power, put there by the people peacefully. Soon after “The Charter to the People’s Interest”, the constitution of the Sixth Republic was written up. Its critics pointing out its vague word choice might become a problem. Heading the Party then and now is the grand son of a socialist icon, Léon Blum. Blum has molded the French government around his own philosophies of administration.

Immediately after the Party was allowed to seize power (and thus Blum), the economy was put under more regulation and ‘watch’. To manage the massive amounts of data and censuses to provide for the people the “Bureaucracy” was formed as a wing of the legislative branch. Thousands of people are employed by the Bureaucracy in order to manage the shifting of finances and the crunching of numbers for the overall prosperity of the people. The Bureaucracy has become so powerful that its chair is considered by most as the second most powerful man in France.

The Parliament is divided into Upper and Lower Houses with a third, House of Territories added most recently. Together the houses of Parliament draft laws and other legislation that then goes to the desk of Premier Blum, who may ultimately allow it to pass or fail. The “Orator of the People” is the sort of Speaker of the House or Senate. He is technically second in the Party according to the Charter of the People’s Interest.

Lastly the Court system is trial by peers, represented by the Party. Criminals of all sorts are dragged in front of such juries full of good Party members. The larger the crime the more important officials will be representing the people. Premier Blum, himself could sit on the side of the people if he so wished.

“None of us know our end really, or what hand will guide us there. A king may move a man, a father may claim a son. That man can also move himself. And only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played, or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone. Even though those who presumed pray you kings or men of power, When you stand before God you cannot say "but I was told by others to do thus" or that "virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice. Remember that” – King Baldwin IV, Kingdom of Heaven

Negro please.

You've been pimped! :teach: Get out there, don't forget to make sure you've read the Guide, and to make register your Diplomat and make your Embassy! Remember, if you want to produce or research anything you have to run it by me first so I can tell you how long it'll take.
