The Space Dust Gun Shop floats in orbit around the center of Gondar much like Marie's shop. The owner's name is Armon, and he and Marie have been opposites for quite some time. Where she makes armor, he makes weapons. He's good at it too. His shop is mostly rounded, made of chromed steel. Inside it's much the same. It looks quite like an armory on most of the Federation's Ships. Come on in, poke around. You can test your weapons at the firing range in the back room. Handguns The easiest type of gun to wield, handguns have small clips and are generally meant for self-protection. Handgun prices are 25 credits multiplied by the weapon's modifier. Six Shooters: The least expensive guns in the bunch, these relics only have six shots per clip. Since they are so unweildy, they take three posts to reload instead of two. They have x1 modifiers. Mag 3.2: Mags are pistols from the 21st century. Their slide-in clips hold 21 shots each. While they arn't the most accurate pistols you can get, they can be set to fire 3-round bursts instead of the standard 1 shot. Either way, they have a x2 modifier to their accuracy. Phoenix: Phoenix pistols were found on a remote planet during an exploration run. They seemed to be made of a green fluid at the time. With study, scientists were able to remake these guns and mass produce them. Their accuracy is one of the best, and their energy 'clip' can support up to 20 shots. Automatic Rifles Automatic Rifles can empty their entire clip in two posts to hose down enemies, or can be used conservatively. They have large clips, usually have low accuracy, and normally can support add-ons. They cost 50 credits multiplied by the modifier. Sandera: The cheapest Automatic Rifle has a 50 round clip. While this is high for a machine gun, it also has the most kick of any weapon. Using any more than ten shots per post will halve your accuracy. Most marines will use two of these to maximize their abilities. Shudder-bug: The mainstay of the Federation Marines, these guns get their name for their intense vibrations while firing. However, with a clip of 30 and a fast firing rate, these guns do the job well. They also come with a 2x aiming scope that can add 2 to the guns modifier. The downside is you can only fire 3 shots per post while using it. Without the scope, the Shudder-bug has a modifier of x6. It has room for only one addition. Swiss: This very powerful, and very expensive, machine gun holds 40 shots in it's clip. Called Swiss because it makes it's targets look like Swiss Cheese, its bullets hold the capability to reduce armor. Other Guns These weapons don't fall under any other category, and they all have their own specific cost. Bouncer: Named for it's ability to bounce your opponents far away from you, this weapon is also referred to as a shotgun. It's shells are filled with small BB's. When fired, it sends those BB's in a cone shape into whatever's directly in front of you. It's accuracy is off the charts in close range battles, but it's near useless beyond fifteen feet. Only two shots can be fired from it's 10 shell holding area, and only two can be reloaded per post. It costs 250 credits. Wind's Shadow: A sniper rifle, though not the best one (Aril's still getting those in stock), this weapon is famed for it's ability to put a bullet through a head frim distances up to a mile away. However, it's drawbacks include only a 5 shot clip, being only able to fire one shot per post, lacking the ability to be used for close range fighitng, and taking an extra post to reload. But with a x20 scope that brings it's natural it's well worth it. This sniper is selling for 500 credits. Melee Weapons He doesn't only sell guns. Aril also sells melee weapons for close range fighting that guns don't help with. But in an era of fighting in space with powerful weapons and fighting across distances with guns, these weapons aren't much needed. Melee weapons have their own individual prices and listed modifiers. Cutlass: This curved weapon is required for any officer in the Meihazu Syndicate's pirate fleet. They cost 10 credits in general. Daggers: Mostly used to cut food, daggers can also be used for killing people. However, they're small and aren't often substituted for other weapons. They have a 5 credit base. Nightstick: Used mostly by Security, these are the standard Officer's Nightstick used in the 21st century. While the materials have changed, the style hasn't. They cost a 10 gold base. Modifiers: Iron: x1 Steel: x2 Titanium: x3 |
